Abstract
The purpose of this study was to determine the fiscal impact of contract and grant funding on a college, using The University of Alabama, College of Education, as a case study and to produce a checklist instrument for determining the fiscal desirability of contract and grant activity. The secondary purpose of this study was to demonstrate that the checklist instrument developed may be used by any college/school, within a major university, to determine the fiscal desirability of contract and grant activity.
