| dc.description.abstract | The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of complexity of interior form on the inclination for activity of a selected group of fourth grade children. A comparison was made between responses from a control group of children tested in a simple interior form and responses from an experimental group of children tested in a complex interior form. This comparison was made between the children’s inclination for active play or passive play and their sense of personal freedom or withdrawal tendencies as tested by the What I Like To Do Test and the California Test of Personality, respectively. An analysis was made to determine whether the differing environments had any effect on the attitudinal responses of the children. | |
