Abstract:
It is the purpose of this paper to present some of the more important aspects of the graphite industry, such as countries producing graphite, economic conditions, uses of graphite, and the nature of graphite deposits; and it is the special purpose of this paper to present the experimental efforts and results of the writer to chemically purify natural Alabama graphite, along the general lines of the Lloyd-Kennedy Process. *NOTE: This is the best available copy.*
