Monographs in the earth sciences, especially in the fields of geomorphology, meteorology, and climatology, have a significant impact on Instruction and research. The frequent occurrence of earth science titles in college course syllabi shows the value of monographs for instruction. Earth science titles are frequently cited in the Web of Science demonstrating importance for research. Titles examined in this paper are found in collections of college and university libraries in countries worldwide.
